I had a chance to review the book I Like You Like This early. I chose this book for reasons that are close to my heart - my my brother had struggled with drug addiction for years and I struggle with anxiety and depression and the book description just screamed - READ MEEEEEEEE.
We have Hannah who has a troubled home life, we have Deacon who.. although rich and wants for nothing, has his own version of a troubled home life, who come together one fateful day through a drug transaction (this book HEAVILY references drugs) - lots happens in this book.
This book was great for so many reasons - however, it didn't turn out the way that I had expected. It was an emotional rollercoaster of .. well, it was all over the place but I loved it. It was rough and it was sweet and it was cute and it was rough all over again, talk about taking you through the ringer.
The characters I though were written well, they progressed well together - the only part I did not like was there was no transition between mindsets - Hannah went directly into Deacon and I got confused as to who was doing the thinking at times - there was also another character mind we had come in at a later time that I was like, wait who is this now? If there was a little point between who was "thinking" that'd be great! Overall a great read and highly recommend.

Happy Reading!
